Citizens Bank, NA Announces Senior Bond Repurchase | News


PROVIDENCE, RI – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Dec. 10 2021–

Citizens Bank, NA today announced the repurchase, on January 14, 2022 (the “Redemption Date”), of all of its (i) $ 700,000,000 of 3.250% Senior Bonds due 14 February 2022 (CUSIP # 17401QAS0) and (ii) Senior Variable Rate Notes in the aggregate amount of $ 300,000,000 due February 14, 2022 (CUSIP # 17401QAT8) (collectively, the “Notes”). The redemption price of the Notes will be equal to 100% of the principal amount of the Redeemed Notes, plus any accrued and unpaid interest up to, but excluding, the Redemption Date.

From the redemption date, the Notes will no longer be deemed to be in circulation and interest will no longer accrue on the Notes. Payment of the redemption price of the Notes will be made through The Depository Trust Company.
