The world of cryptocurrencies has seen some notable developments over the past week.
Coinbase, one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges, looks to India as it seeks to expand its operations. The company revealed that it was looking to add more employees to its office – based in Hyderabad – and also added a surprise sign-up bonus to sweeten the deal.
There is more to the country, with the Indian government appearing to be preparing to finally discuss the topic of cryptocurrency during this monsoon session of parliament – Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has revealed that the crypto bill as expected is ready to be presented.
That said, cryptocurrencies have had a possibly lackluster week when it comes to their prices – four of the top five cryptocurrencies fell, with Dogecoin dipping the most. Only Binance Coin remained in the green.
