Neobank PME FloBiz appoints Pulkit Saboo as Marketing Director

Pulkit Saboo joins FloBiz, the first fintech and neobank start-up for growing Indian SMEs, as Marketing Director. Extensive experience, Pulkit previously held the position of Senior Marketing Director at Ola for India and International Markets, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail and SABMiller. With more than a decade of experience, Pulkit began his career as a software engineer at Infosys. Additionally, Pulkit is an alumnus of the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA).

In his new role at FloBiz, Pulkit will be responsible for creating and executing FloBiz’s branding and marketing strategy. In addition, he will lead partnerships and collaborations with a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders while organizing unique experiences for SME partners. Pulkit will also lead the creative and strategic thinking for the branding and marketing functions.

Previously, FloBiz had announced an association with national award winner Manoj Bajpayee as a brand ambassador and launched the campaign #BusinessKoLeSeriously with three video films. FloBiz’s rapid growth trajectory has resulted in two consecutive fundraisers for the company this year – $ 31 million Series B led by Sequoia Capital India and Think Investments in the US in September 2021 and $ 10 million Series Led by Elevation Capital and existing investors in March 2021. The company is also looking to further strengthen its engineering, product and data teams as it continues to develop and introduce more features on myBillBook.
